Definition | A <REVERSIBLE ROTOR BLADE> is a <ROTOR BLADE> as part of a set of adjustable rotor vanes fitted around a rotational axis by which the rotor is preceded by an inlet stator and followed by a downstream stator each provided with guide vanes designed so as to be mirror-symmetrical to the radial center plane of the rotor and may be adjusted at an angle to the direction of flow in such a way that at reversible flow direction the inlet stator takes on the function of a downstream stator and the downstream stator takes on the function of an inlet stator. |
